The MicorTIG is Lorch’s latest advancement in Power Factor Correction inverter technology enabling the machine to optimise mains load on both 110v & 230v supply. Withincreasing welding output capacity thanks to Lorch’s MicorBoost technology this machine can weld a 4mm Low hydrogen rod running at 140Amps on a 145Ft (44 meter) long 110v supply with perfect & instantaneous arc ignition every single time& can also produce 180 Amps in TIG mode from 110v supply! That’s a serious amount of welding output from such a small machine. In TIG mode the High Frequency strike is so powerful it can ignite the arc with a 25mm air gap between the tungsten & workpiece ensuring arc ignition first time, every time. MicorTIG can be powered via mains supply, is generator friendly & can also run off a rechargeable battery pack with up to 50 minutes of weld time from a single charge for use out in the field where no mains power supply is available. The MicorTIG is incredibly robust built for the harshest environments& guaranteed to survive drops of up to 80cm high whilst maintaining full welding output in the process.
