Translas fume extraction torches are the lightest & most efficient currently available on the market. This is because unlike some other fume gun manufacturers who have adapted standard MIG guns into fume extraction guns Translas have designed their guns from scratch predominantly as a fume extraction gun with cyclone technology able to capture the maximum amount of fume possible without extracting any shielding gas.

The result is an extremely efficient welding fume extraction torch able to extract up to 95% of the welding fume whilst also producing the lightest gun in its class with the 7XE Mini torch weighing just 1.1KG!

Unlike most other fume guns, the translas 7XE range of guns are super light & manoeuvrable with a choice of 3 necks starting at 45° & various lengths of tips & nozzles allowing you tailor your torch to any application.

Translas Clear O2 High Vacuum Units

Translas Clear O2 High vacuum extraction systems are designed to work in conjunction with the translas 7XE fume extraction gun range & will subsequently have a fume capture rate between 90% & 95% at source and filter these particulates with an efficiency of > IFA 99.8%.

The Translas clear O2 High Vacuum units come in three variants starting with the W100 / W150 which is available in both single phase 230v & three phase 415v inputs & is designed to run a single translas 7XE gun.

The W200 comes equipped with a three phase 415v motor & is designed to run 2x 7XE guns whilst the W400 comes equipped with a powerful 6KW three phase 415v motor & is designed to run 4x 7XE Translas fume guns.

All three units are fitted with a continuous rated electric motor which is designed to run continuously without loss of power & have an automatic cleaning function with the use of reverse compressed air to blow out the internal filter. The moment the air pressure inside the unit drops under its minimum level the unit starts to clean the filter automatically.

The O2 High vacuum units come complete with arc sensing technology which senses the welding arc in order to automatically engage the extraction unit & switch it off when not in use thus reducing energy operating costs.
