GYS PROGYS MMA range
The PROGYS is GYS’s industrial range of Manual Metal Arc & lift TIG inverter welding machines. We currently supply 4 variants starting with the PROGYS 183E.
The PROGYS 183E is a 180Amp inverter machine requiring a 240 volt input supply designed to be robust & durable that’s able to deliver professional welding results on steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm. It is designed to perform 3 types of welding process MMA, Pulse MMA & LIFT TIG capable of producing a very soft fusion point ensuring a perfect finish.
The PROGYS 200E FV CEL is a 200Amp inverter machine with flexible voltage technology is capable of running from a supply as low as 85 Volts up to 265 Volts & with built in Power Factor Correction is able to function even during intensive with long extension leads up to 100 meters long!
With its high duty cycle and revolutionary arc dynamics, it will weld any kind of electrodes (Ø1.6 to 5 mm): steel, stainless steel, cast iron, rutile, basic or cellulosic & ensures a stable arc with a constant intensity equipped with features such as Anti Stick, Adjustable Hot Start & Adjustable Arc Force.
The PROGYS CEL 250 A TRI is a 250Amp inverter machine requiring a 415 volt input supply capable of working on long power cables.
With its robust structure and high protection rating (IP 23), the PROGYS CEL 250 A TRI is ideal for professional work in mechanised welding, sheet metal and piping.
The high starting voltage of 100V gives it revolutionary arc dynamics enabling the user to weld any kind of electrodes easily: Steel, stainless steel, cast-iron, basic, cellulosic, aluminium & is equipped with features such as Anti Stick, Adjustable Hot Start, MMA Pulse & Adjustable Arc Force.

The PROGYS FLEX 280 A CEL is currently GYS’s flagship MMA inverter machine with 280 Amps welding output & capable of working on both single phase (110V & 240V) and 3 phase (415V) power supplies. The unit automatically manages the input power supply to produce a high quality arc condition. The robust build and IP23 protection rating makes it ideal for outside work in tough conditions such as pipe welding and ship building..
High performance / duty cycle make it ideal for industrial applications, capable of welding 1.6mm to 5mm electrodes, produces an open circuit voltage of 100V ideal for Cellulosic electrodes & is equipped with features such as Anti Stick, Adjustable Hot Start, MMA Pulse & Adjustable Arc Force.
