GYS DC TIG

The GYS DC TIG range is currently available in four distinct models starting with the small & portable GYS TIG 168 HF DC which has a mains input supply voltage of 240v & equipped with HF ignition, pulse and MMA capability.

The GYS TIG 220 DC HF has a Flexible Voltage power supply meaning the machine will work on a single phase power supply from 85 to 265 Volts & can either be supplied in air or water-cooled format.

The three phase GYS TIG 300 DC HF is adapted for complex TIG and MMA welding operations & allows you to perform high quality welding operations on soft and stainless steel with excellent results & can either be supplied in air or water-cooled format.

The GYS Titan 400 DC TIG is the largest in this range & provides a perfect solution for accurate welding of high alloy metals with its high duty cycle (400 A @ 60 %) it is designed for the most demanding TIG and MMA industrial welding applications. Available in air or water-cooled format, equipped with TACK mode for fast repeatable tacking of sheet material, spot function & a user friendly interface that enables fast, easy setup with large simple controls for effective welding on pipework, tubular construction and stainless steel plate fabrications.

The above machines come with functions such as:-

  • High Frequency ignition.
  • Pre & post gas flow.
  • Slope up & slope down.
  • Spot TIG: traditional spot welding before welding thin sheet metals.
  • TACK mode: very precise spot welding function free of oxidation reducing the risk of heat input causing deformation. The welding spots in TACK mode are invisible in the weld bead. (Titan 400 DC).
  • E-TIG mode: ensures a unified weld bead width and consistent penetration regardless the position of the torch in relation to the work piece (control of the welding energy). (Titan 400 DC).
  • Pulse & fast pulse TIG with Easy Pulse allowing the machine to automatically control the frequency & peak / base current based on the operators average welding current setting.
  • · AIP mode which assists the positioning of the electrode before the current increases to its maximum. A very low current is supplied (10A), acting like a beam of light before full arc ignition is activated.
  • · MMA Pulse developed for welding pipes/tubes as well as upper vertical welding (Excluding TIG 168 DC) .
  • · Job save mode for saving & recalling settings within the machines memory (TIG 300 HF & Titan 400 DC)
  • · Energy Mode – Calculation of the heat input, current & voltage in real time. (Titan 400 DC).
